I learned that making a car from scratch Is not as hard as I thought But it is still not easy. But its not to hard. I also learned that you can't wind it up a lot or else the rubber band would snap and you would have to redo the hole thing. I had the most fun building the car and seeing if it would work. Also I liked making my video. I had trouble finding a rubber band that would fit/work. I also had a difficult time finding all the materials for it, like a wood Spool. But the most difficult thing that happened was that the rubber band snapped in one of my videos so I had to redo it. I had an easy job building the car and using it. I also just had an easier job this time compared to other passion time rounds. Next time I would Build a different rubber band powered car. A more realistic looking one. Also I would try and build The car I already made bigger. The evidence I would give to others would be see if you can make a rubber band powered car like mine. Also do not wind the car up to much or else the rubber band might snap. The car does work best on a ruff surface like carpet. But it still works well on a table and other smooth surfaces. Just in case if you don't remember the materials that you need are a spool, washer, tape, toothpick, pencil, rubber band, sizers. 

I learned a lot of things during this passion time. I learned how to teach a dog many tricks including shake, sit, speak, and rollover. I also learned the tests that they give dogs who are training to be guide dogs. The most fun thing was learning how to teach a dog how to shake and learning what guide dogs have to do.. Sadly, I never got to actually teach any dogs. I would have taught my dog to do the tricks but I don't have a dog. The most difficult thing was learning the steps to communicating with dogs. This was hard because the videos were kind of confusing. The thing that was  the easiest was learning how to teach simple tricks like sit. For example, all you have to do for sit is hold a treat over there head. Next time I would probably go over to a friends and teach tricks to there dog. some advice I would give is to start with the easier tricks, then get on to the advanced ones. I say that because it gets harder to teach dogs more advanced tricks because there is more steps involved in teaching the trick. It also gets harder to get the dog to comply with what your trying to teach it.

I learned about everything I really wanted to know. I learned how to teach dogs tricks, training, and ways you can communicate with your dog. The thing I had the most fun learning about was how you could teach your dogs crazy things like opening a door. I had fun learning about this because I never thought that dogs could be so intelligent to the level where they can tell the different between different objects. I enjoyed knowing this things so I could try it on my dog. The Thing I liked the most was seeing all the cool tricks you could teach your dog. I was able to try some tricks on my dog and it was super fun. I was actually able to teach my dog to go in a circle which is pretty cool. The thing I had a problem was knowing which way when training a dog was the best. There was over five to ten way to make your dog to listen to you but I didn't know which was the best one. The thing that was the easiest for me was finding way to teach your dogs certain tricks. For example I searched how to teach your dog to roll and a bunch of information popped up on it. If I had another chance I would have wanted to do a video of me teaching my dog some of the things I learned. Some advice I would give to someone is that it might be hard to teach your dog these thing but they aren't as hard as they seem. I would also tell someone that you might think teach your dog is not fun but if you do it with a fun purpose you will have the time of your life.

I learned that people have to invest a lot of money to start a reliable social media. Companies spend a bunch load of money everyday just to host their social media platform. Youtube is one of the biggest platforms ever out there and they have to handle a lot of data every day! More then a petabyte of data! The funnest part of this was learning about all of this. The reason why this was so fun is because learning how much data they transfer everyday was just amazing. I couldn't believe how much storage Youtube and Twitter would have to store and how big they got over just a few months. The most difficult part was not trying to plagiarize a lot of things from what they said. It was just so crazy that I would want to copy everything they said, but I knew I had to say it in my own words and the translations for all the bigger words took me a longer time. The easiest part was making the video, this didn't take me too long, all I needed to do is to record and introduce my website. Next time I would probably do everything in order. I kind of skipped around everywhere and just did things randomly.  I also recommend other people to go in order and to take your time. Another thing that I recommend thing for people to do is to actually take their time on things like LAQ and KWH because most of the time I just quickly do it and I don't spend much time on this and it's not my best quality that it can be.

During This Passion Time project I really learned a lot. I was very excited for this round because I was creating a 3-D hand. It took me a while to make one that looked very good because I was always putting the lines so close together but then I made one where the lines were further apart and the final product looked so much better than the others. The picture above is the one that I was very happy about it looked the best with the shading on the sides. I also figured out that I need to erase the trace of my hands to make it look more 3-D. It looks so much better when you shade the edges because it looks more realistic. I am very happy that I didn't stick to the small spaces in between each line because it wouldn't have looked as good. Something that I could've done differently this time is probably trying more new things because I spent so much time just trying to perfect the small spaced lines but it wasn't working and I didn't know that I should do smaller lines until the end. Something I wouldn't have changed is the way I did my last draft because I really liked it and it definitely looked the best, I am very happy with the way it turned out. I decided to do this project because I wanted to try something new and I wanted to try something I thought would be fun. I thought that something like this project would be fun because I love to draw and color and I thought it would be cool because you never know if it will look good. It might look like a 3-D hand or it will just look like a hand on paper so  could fail or be successful. I think that my project was pretty successful in the end. It doesn't look that 3-D but it doesn't look like a traced hand either. It is slightly 3-D and I think that I did the best I could and I liked my project's final drawing. 

     This was a fun project because I LOVE history. I Love learning about things that happened in the past because if there was something we did that was bad I could learn from it. I learned from this passion time that you should never judge people on their race and that they are no different from any of us. Yes, I already knew all this stuff, but I learned the real effect it has on people. The most fun thing I did during this project was that I got to make a google form and I had never done that before, I thought it was very amusing. I also loved having time with Olivia, that was fun too. The one thing that was easy, was finding information and pictures, it was also easy to make and figure out how to do the google form. Something that was difficult was when I had to write the information on my website because I had to figure out how to write it down so that it made sense and it was also hard to make sure I did not plagiarize. Next, time instead of doing my own page and Olivia making her own, I would have both made all the pages together because then it would have been more of a team effort. My advice for someone who does a project like this is that you have to make sure you work together a lot, otherwise you won't get things done.Another piece of advice is that you have to share information with each other, like me and Olivia did, so that you could know as much as possible and so that your site or book or whatever it was or is could be better. My last piece of advice is that you have to use your time wisely, so that you can get things done and if you are focus that would help too because then you would be able to make what you are making it's best.    

      I really enjoyed doing this project because it was doing something I actually enjoyed doing. Also doing it was Brynna made our final project better because she came up with good ideas of what to add to our skit. She is also very good at using iMovie so, she had some pretty good ideas about what we could add to our video. The most fun part of the project was choosing what jokes we would use for our skit. Probably the most difficult part of this project was learning how to use iMovie on a laptop because it is way different from on a mobile device. I can give others who do this project the advice of making sure to know your script very well before you actually start videotaping.

​          I had so much fun doing this project with Carmen and she was a great partner to do this with. The main thing I learned was the functions on iMovie. I usually use iMovie on my phone, and I thought it would be the same on the laptop, but it wasn't and that took a long time to figure out. The most fun part was when we were editing the video we took on iMovie because we could do different things and cool transitions. The most difficult thing was trying to figure out how to work iMovie and how it functions. The easiest part was filing the actual video, even though we messed up a lot of times. The thing I would do differently next time is coming up with more jokes so our video would be longer. 

           What did I learn? I learned how to manage a large group and how to choreograph a a dance. Also I leaned how to do the cup song with cups. Another thing I learned is how to manage weebly and the colors, fonts, and sizes of everything. I think all of these are valuable because it tout me to work with computers and with people, some of which I don't know very well. What was the most fun? The most fun thing was shooting the video. That was most fun because we were all laughs in the out takes. Also it was the most fun because Mr. Solarz was in it too. What was difficult?  The most difficult ting I did was shoot the video because it took so many takes, and it was hard to organize. What was easy? The easiest thing was probably making my website. That was easiest for me because I have experience with it and it was me explaining things to people which I LOVE!!!! Another thing that made it easier for me was I learned how to change stuff such as: changing the font, backgrounds, and making more pages.What would I do differently next time? One thing I would do differently is I would have a couple less people because some people were not free, then other were not free when others were. I was so hard. What advice can I give others who are doing a project like this?  You should get a good camera and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!

          I learned a lot on youtube like how trench warfare and how the whole world war 1 I also learned stuff I didn't knew about it like Belgium was a battle ground, Russian revolution and I watched the duck and cover video of ww1. I think it was fun making our video because we had little army guys. So we made trenches and Tommy had his side charging. it was really hard getting the soldiers to stand. We first try to use pillow to stick inside but it would fall through so we used math books. it was pretty easy learning because the first video I watched was 80% of the stuff I learned so learning was pretty easy. I liked the way I did but I would of spend less time learning and maybe spent more time on reflection. If any body did this I suggest this pat 1 part 2 video that really helped me and go onto kids facts it also helped me.

          I learned a lot about World War 1! I didn't know much in the beginning but I found interest in this topic because I like learning about wars. I think the most fun part of the project was making the video. In the video, (it's the one at the top of blog) we explained World War 1, trench warfare,  the Christmas Truce, and the Red Baron. The hardest part was trying to come up with a title. I couldn't think of one because it can't be used already and it has to be a question. The easiest part was finding facts about World War 1, I didn't think it would be that easy but there was this amazing video my partner, Owen showed me. If I did this project differently though, I might've tried to add more ways to find facts. All I said above was Google, Youtube Videos, and Wikipedia. If I had to give a word of advice to somebody doing this project, I think I'd have to say: If you make a website, make sure to fill out all the pages on it. There were a few that Owen and I didn't get to do.

       Questions I will answer: What was the most fun? What was difficult? and What advice can I give others who are doing a project like this?

            The thing that was most fun was watching the comic unfold and work, and see them almost come to life on scratch. It was fun to look at the comics and website I made and go, wow. That was a job well done, although it could use a bit of improvement here and there. The most difficult thing was probably trying to get the comics to work, and if they weren’t working, to try and find the bugs. But even after finding the bugs, I had to fix them. That process of testing, seeing the bug, finding the bug, and finally fixing the bug took up most of my time while making the comics. When doing a comic on Scratch (if you’re doing one on scratch), then start small. Do other things after you’ve made the first small comic, and if you have time after you’ve done all of the other things you need to do, them you can go back and make your original comic bigger, or another one entirely.
