Reflection (choose a few):
- What did I learn?
- What was the most fun?
- What was difficult?
- What was easy?
- What would I do differently next time?
- What advice can I give others who are doing a project like this.
Olivia's Reflection
While I was researching the Nazi concentration camps I found out that at these camps they automatically killed the people who were disabled upon arriving because they would not work because they were disabled. They tested different drugs on children and sometimes instead of killing them and then sending them to the cemetery they automatically sent them there. The thing that was most fun was learning some people that helped people during this period of time. I think that finding appropriate websites that had a lot of information was hard. I decided not to watch youtube videos because in them there was some inappropriate photos and video clips. Most websites had a link to a inappropriate video, a inappropriate video showing on the site, or inappropriate pictures. I knew that there was going to be some inappropriate things when I started the project but I did not think there would be this many. I think that the easiest thing was putting it into my own words and creating the site because I had already created 2 other websites. If anyone wanted to do this I would recommend to try to have a least a few ideas of appropriate resources to use.
Kya's Reflection
This was a fun project because I LOVE history. I Love learning about things that happened in the past because if there was something we did that was bad I could learn from it. I learned from this passion time that you should never judge people on their race and that they are no different from any of us. Yes, I already knew all this stuff, but I learned the real effect it has on people. The most fun thing I did during this project was that I got to make a google form and I had never done that before, I thought it was very amusing. I also loved having time with Olivia, that was fun too. The one thing that was easy, was finding information and pictures, it was also easy to make and figure out how to do the google form. Something that was difficult was when I had to write the information on my website because I had to figure out how to write it down so that it made sense and it was also hard to make sure I did not plagiarize. Next, time instead of doing my own page and Olivia making her own, I would have both made all the pages together because then it would have been more of a team effort. My advice for someone who does a project like this is that you have to make sure you work together a lot, otherwise you won't get things done.Another piece of advice is that you have to share information with each other, like me and Olivia did, so that you could know as much as possible and so that your site or book or whatever it was or is could be better. My last piece of advice is that you have to use your time wisely, so that you can get things done and if you are focus that would help too because then you would be able to make what you are making it's best.
