Andrew has a great sense of humor and loves to share his thoughts, that is good because if you don’t speak a lot you won’t get much feedback and reflection, He will always help somebody if they are stuck in there writing and will make them jubilant. He will stay on task always. Audrey is a great writer and always has interesting thoughts and questions. The way she writes is superb and the writing pieces she makes are all solid, she always has great ideas when we are in writing and always gets us back on task when were goofing of. Shreya is curious and is a great person to work with, she gives good feedback and is good at accepting feedback, she has always stayed on task during writing. They are all great people to work in writing and can do it all in writing.

1. Compare and contrast your alien and a human. What similarities do they have and what differences do they have? These should be related to the parts of their bodies that have a specific purpose (Example: Both have feet which help them both stand straight up.) Try to be specific and explain things with detail.
Skill Drill:
I see this huge, tall, and scary looking mountain. On the the back there are two very thick ropes and I decide to climb up one of the ropes. It took a while to get to the top but now I’m at the top where there is an arch or gateway. I think to myself, “Why not climb through it!?” So I climb through the arch, and suddenly I fall into a deep black hole. I found a huge long light that was as huge as the sun, so I flip it on. I look back up and see a huge hand reaching in like I’m a toy in a claw machine. Luckily, the hand grabs one of the huge rectangular prisms with big symbols on it. It smells like trash and all of these papers are towering over me like giants. I climb onto one of those huge books sitting inside of that black hole with that big light still on. Then suddenly I fall again this time into a large net with little holes in it, it looked like a cage just waiting for someone to fall in. I couldn’t beleive that this was a mountain.
I was playing outside over the weekend and I was trying throw a football from way far away into my basketball hoop. One of my tries I threw and I knew it wouldn’t go in when it hit the ground and there was a squirrel right next to it and when it hit the ground right next to it, it instantaneously scampered up a tree in a flash. It was so funny because it literally thought somebody was about to shoot himself. It sounded like a bomb because it was so high and its reaction was historical. I was laughing so much. I felt felt bad for the squirrel but I couldn’t hold back the laughter.
All of the metaphors: To start out Mr. Solarz put us in a line from tallest to shortest. All the tall people went to the red team and the short people went to the blue team, and the people in the middle went to the white team. The red team I thought was the British because of n history the British were stronger and more experienced. Only four of the white team started with the rope as everyone else on white stood far away from the rope. All the red got to go on the rope and the white ot to join them in the middle of the "war." But the rest of the white joined in the middle of the war as well. The British won because they had way more soldiers than the continental army, and I was one of the starting four for the continental army.
