How does the Poem look on the Page?

• The poem kind of looks like a shell, it might be something in the beach. The poem also looks like  a head and your head can control the skateboard, you can think of what you can do on the skateboard.
  
• It might be about something magical or cursed
  

What is the poem about? What is it's subject?

• The poem is about skateboarding but the ocean was a metaphor for the whole poem. The skateboarder was in control of what he could do on a skateboard.
  
• I think they are hibernating animals and when it's night there light turns on and the June bugs are attracted by it so they cling to the screen door. When mama turns the light off the June bugs scatter.
