| Answers: Reflection Paragraph: This activity was really fun! I got to see how my heart rate goes up and how it goes down. We used a stethoscope to track our heart rate and it was also really fun to use them. It was a really great experience to use the stethoscope and to learn about our heart rate and actually get to move around. 1. The activities that raised my heart rate the most were jumping in place and running in place. These raised my heart rate because I was moving a lot. 2. The activities that raised my heart rate the least were sitting in a chair, thinking of scary thoughts, and laying down. These didn't raise my heart rate because I didn't move that much. 3. It was because I put the order in which I started of so for example, first I did laying down and then I did sitting, then I did scary thoughts, then I did jumping, and finally I ran in place. So I do believe that it is accurate. 4. I noticed that when I got more active, my heart started to beat faster and faster because it was pumping blood faster. I also realized that I was more tired easily than when I was just laying on the ground relaxing. 5. (Didn't use book) I think that my heart rate changed when I was more active because the heart was trying to pump blood so that the whole body could get blood. |
