| 1.The cold water actually rose a little over time but was pretty steady. The warm water dropped below the cold water so the cold was warmer. 2. The lines went down when it was colder and up when it got warmer. The warm water did a big upside down ark then went steady. 3. The colder one was warmer and the hotter one was colder. Also all the ice melted and the temperatures pretty much stopped moving in the end. 4. The warm water heat went into the cold water and the ice so it melted the ice which took most of the heat and the rest was in the colder water. Then the warm one was left hanging. 5.The water did not go through the heat did. We know because the warm water was dyed red and the cold water didn't have red so there. 6. The heat energy moved into the cold water, the ice cubes in the cold water and the air. That left the cold one warmer, the warmer one colder, the ice cubes gone and the air a little warmer. |
