What Will We Do First On Mars?

I think that we should make our drill first and some people should find water. Adalberto Silva (Hasanain K.) should do the drill with Daniel Block (Chris.) and Leonard Bernier (Tucker.) should make the drill. I think then Mechanic Kai Bon (Demetri.) , and Leyla Tiryaki (Stacy.) should go get water.

1. Can you feel it when your pupils dilate?
2. Do you have any control over your pupils when they dilate?
3. What do we call this when a reflex happens without our control?
4. Why do our pupils get bigger in the dark and smaller in the light?
5. How does this reflex protect our eyes?

1. No.
2. No because they change automatically your surroundings.
3. An involuntary muscle.
4. When its dark you need all the light you can get so you can see and in the light you don't need as much because you got plenty.
5. This protects your eyes from any moving objects and from any light.

Explain how you and your partner used only the sense of sight to catch the ruler.
Explain how you and your partner used only the sense of hearing to catch the ruler.
Explain how you and your partner used only the sense of touch to catch the ruler.
Was it more difficult to catch the ruler using one of the senses as compared to the other? Explain.
How could you use only the sense of smell to catch the ruler?
How could you use only the sense of taste to catch the ruler?

1. I saw the ruler and my partner dint say anything or touch me with something. I got 18 she got 26.
2. We used something like for her I said "PINCH" and for me she said pinch. She got 6 me 12.
3. She kicked me and I got 3. I smacked her with a ruler and she got 20.
4. Yes. I felt the feeling made me pinch and it worked. The sound was good and sight is good when I don't know its coming.
5. If someone put stinky cheese in your face you might grab the ruler.
6. If someone put chocolate in your mouth while it was open then the taste would allow you to maybe pinch the ruler.
7. Well the nerves in your brain see a ruler falling and they send a message to your finger saying "HEY. Catch that ruler." and they pinch to catch the ruler. If they feel something they feel they should grip probably and if they know that its going to fall then they will grip. If they hear something and they know it will drop they'll grip and catch the ruler. Them smell they smell it the nerves will say that's that smell I should grip. Same with the taste.
