Writing Prompt

The Amazing Qualities of the People in my Writing Circle!

Oh Jeremy, the great Jeremy. He loves to play soccer and he is great at it. He can be good at math. Whenever I sit next to him at lunch, He is great at comedy and fills me with laughter. The great one is great at many qualities. (Oh dat boy. - Mr. Lamich)

Luke, an awesome person who loves adventure. He fills me with laughter at times, and respects me with jokes that are funny. He likes to try new things that can be difficult. The awesome one can be a great hider with some games.

Addie H. A person who likes sports, and has a lot of marbles in her math cup. She also likes to be challenged and likes to try new things.

Addy M. A person who loved “ The Club “ in fourth grade. She is great at comedy and loves to play sports. She also likes to talk and chat a lot at lunch.

Skill Drill

Before

Jimmy is a really good artist.
We brought lots of things with us on the trip.
I think Cindy did a great job on her research paper!
The ball was passed to Bobby by Luke.
The baby cried very loudly!

WEXPN3 - Focusing on Perspective

Journal Writing:
Imagine that you suddenly shrunk to one inch tall and you're about to climb over the backpack that you just drew. Write a story about your adventure, making sure to focus in on ALL the small details of the backpack and your experiences while climbing. You are FOCUSing on a perspective in this writing piece, so I should feel like you are tiny throughout the whole story.

Writing Prompt

This is like Mount Everest but orange all over. I need to get to the top of that backpack and see what’s inside the open pocket. Alright, where should I start my adventure…. ohh! Perfect. The one inch tall Brady was staring at a mesh pocket on the side of the backpack. Brady chose this because he could use the really tiny holes through the mesh pocket as grip. Brady stared up at the top of the pocket mesh. It looked like 1000 feet to him, but only a foot for the average human being. Brady started his journey to the top of the pocket mesh, wich was only ⅙ of the way to the very top. Brady was moaning, and fatigue was setting in the farther and farther he went. The face of Brady was looking like he was hungry to get to the top of the pocket mesh. The great perseverance of this little young boy led him to the top of the pocket mesh. The great boy started cheering but then looked at the top of the backpack. After what it felt like to him 5 hours, he still had a long way to go. Brady was thinking of ideas, the only good idea he could think of was jumping to a zipper and using it as some sort of rope. Brady then thought of doing it and he did. Leaping as far as he could gracefully in the air, Brady successfully leaped to the zipper but then there was a loud ring that repeated three times. " Oh no! here comes the giant! " Big Brady then suddenly picked up his backpack and ran to the door with small Brady hanging on for dear life.

Skill Drill

Above this is many different colors of gray and black.
stitching ends the dark night like colors and starts neon orange
little holes are in the neon orange part
neon orange string is stitched above the holes
