Insulated Bottles

4. What materials did you use in your insulated bottle (type them in order from your first layer, second layer, and third layer.)?  Why did you choose the materials that you did?
5. What are some materials that you didn't choose?  Why didn't you choose them?

7. Is an insulator a good or a poor conductor of heat energy?  This is an important question, so really think before you answer it!
   

1. Our highest temperature was 119.1º F.
2. Our lowest temperature was 80º F to 81ºF.

4. We chose these nylon, black wool, fleece, and then aluminum foil. We used these materials because we thought that it would be the best for keeping the heat inside of the bottle.
5. We didn't choose polyester, plastic rap, felt, and carpet padding.  We didn't choose those because lots of people probably took them and we didn't think it would keep the heat in.
6. I think there were some blips because people were shaking the tables, the temperature prob was touching the side of the bottle or it just started going a little hotter, than a little colder.
7. An insulator is a good conductor of heat energy because it keeps the cold out of like hot drinks!
