This is a picture of my group reading our book, A Corner of the Universe by Ann M. Martin.
This is one of my favorite scenes in the book. It is when Adam is at the carnival for the first time with Hattie and Leila. He is awestruck by the magical Ferris wheel lit up in the night. He says it is magic. I like this scene because when I read it, I could picture the scene in my mind. I felt like I was Hattie and watching the carnival light up in the night.
