School Wide Lesson 7

Stop and Jots:

• I predict that Jack will end up sitting with August and Summer at the "Summer" table, because they are not popular and Jack has been abandoned twice.
• August just snapped Jack into reality-Jack is going through August's life. No one talks to him, sits with him and hangs out with him.
• Via is doing her part of protecting August by glaring at Jack. I respect Via for doing this because August told her about the Halloween incident. She is protecting him.
• I believe that this is like Justin's journal because there are no upper cases and apostrophes. 
• I think that Via is scared that Justin will not come back because of Auggie. She said kids didn't usually come back for a second play date.
• Justin feels very comfortable with the Pullmans because they are nice people who listen.
• His parents don't listen to him. He sort of had a bad childhood. His parents gave him to much responsibly and were neglectful. I feel bad for Justin, because he feels more at home with the Pullmans than at his home.
  
• Dun Dun Dun Miranda got the lead role instead of Via. She still has pink hair.

Answers:

1. Share something that is confusing, because lots of good books were voted down because they were "to confusing."
2. It was so great that the characters... because it's a big main thing you would be thinking of. It's a good way to think about the book.
3. We have had lots of "Why did" and "I wonder why" conversations. The discussions always are a little longer than some others because we usually have two or more ideas about why something is happening.
