What surprised me about the statistics of our world was how fast our population is growing and how many people 1 person represents. Also what surprised me was that more than 1.2 billion people are Indian, and that 1 person in the global village represents 70 million!
Some of the things that upset me was that so many people didn't have power or clean water, another thing that upset me was that the worlds population was growing so much! Another thing that upset me was that not many people go to school, and less that 16.6% of the world's population can go to school but don't choose to. I wish that more people would be able to go to school and have power and clean water. The fact that about 30% of the world's population doesn't have sufficient water or food and are severely malnourished. Also the fact that about 10% of the people in the world make less than $2 each day! The thing I can do to help is donate to the poor and maybe grow up and be an electrician.

Amir RajaI am Amir Raja, a doctor from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It would be very important to have a doctor along on the first manned mission to Mars because you would need someone to help you when you have an injury or if we encounter any foreign diseases. I am excited for this trip because it would be exciting to start a foothold for humanity, on mars. Archives
