Writing a Scene in Joonbugz

What is the problem in the scene? The problem in the scene is that they need to get food but there is three watermelons and the dodo birds want it too so they fight.
When does the character have to make a tough choice? The character is surrounded by tae-kwon-dodo birds and they need to get the food to the baby.
What choice does that character make? He decided to charge through the dodo bird and get the watermelon to the baby to eat.
What twists happen in the scene? The twists that happen in the scene is that the character smashes the watermelon on the ground when he is doing his victory dance.

What is the problem in the scene? The problem in the second video is that they lost the baby.
When does the character have to make a tough choice? The tough choice is when they jumped down into the hole.
What choice does that character make? The choice that the character made is that he jumped down the hole.
What twists happen in the story? The twists that happen in the story is that they got the baby, but they crashed into a wall.

Student led Confrence

This is the first time Mr. Solarz is trying student led conferences(so it might be weird). We are supposed to talk to our parents about how our behavior in class is and what we are working on. We talk about things such as report cards, going over goals that Mr. Solarz gave me. go over goals that I gave myself. We also made a video to simulate the Confrences.

Today we created a model of a bloodstream. It consists of red watered down gelatin in cups, one of them was plain and the other added meat tenderizer. The meat tenderizer broke down the gelatin and it flowed past the coffee stainer. It was very fun!

Blue states=Democrat

Here is my explanation on how the electoral collage works: The electoral collage is the vote that matters, if you win the popular vote you can still lose the election. The electoral collage is how many votes a single state gets based on the population.

Here is my explanation on why more states are red, but Hillary still lost the vote: My explanation is that the population liked Hillary more, but the senators that gave the votes though Donald Trump was the better candidate

I think that Illinois usually gives it's votes to democratic candidates because the democratic candidates usually grow up in Illinois. Also the state that the candidate is birthed in almost always gives it votes to the candidate.

I think that Donald Trump will make sure that all people in our country is not illegally here. I also think that Donald Trump might be able to make sure that security is tighter so that no illegal immigrants come over.

Schoolwide Fiction - Lesson 13

1. What is the conflict(wonder)? The conflict is when Jack and Justin were waiting for the train and Jack went and bought some gum, when he came out of the store he was made fun of. After that he went onto the train. Then Justin went and scared the boys so that they would not pick on him again.
2. Person vs. Person.
3. I know that it is Person vs. Person because the problem is with Jack and the boys, the boys are being mean so Jack's friend goes over and tells them to stop being mean.
4. How does this conflict move the story along? I think that this conflict moves the story along because it can introduce new character traits and emphasizes others. The new character trait that is introduces is Justin's character trait, his character trait is that he is epithetic. The character trait that is emphasized is the boy's meanness.
5. The resolution is that because Justin scared the boys so bad that they didn't come near Justin again.
6. Are the caracters changed from the conflict? No, because Amos, Miles, and Julian still bother Jack and they still pick on Jack when Justin is not around.

Dia de los Muertos

They believe that the cycle of life and death is immortal
They eat the traditional food
The origins started at the aztec times
They have a skeleton queen for the day of the dead
They stop at the 2nd of November
They wear costumes
There is a male version of the skeleton queen
They are mixed with different cultures
They use christianity and aztec rituals in the day of dead
They start the day of the dead at October 31

One sentence that I think can summarize the entire Day of the Dead is:
El Dia de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead), a Mexican celebration, is a day to celebrate, remember and prepare special foods in honor of those who have departed.

Amir Raja

I am Amir Raja, a doctor from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It would be very important to have a doctor along on the first manned mission to Mars because you would need someone to help you when you have an injury or if we encounter any foreign diseases. I am excited for this trip because it would be exciting to start a foothold for humanity, on mars.
