- Day and night. The Earth is a sphere, or ball, which spins round and round as it travels around the sun. ... The side facing away is cooler and darker, and experiences night. Because the Earth is constantly spinning, the line between day and night is always moving around the planet.
- The Earth experiences days and nights as a result of the planet spinning on its axis. As the planet spins, the part that is facing the sun experiences day, while it is night for the part facing away from the sun.

Amir RajaI am Amir Raja, a doctor from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It would be very important to have a doctor along on the first manned mission to Mars because you would need someone to help you when you have an injury or if we encounter any foreign diseases. I am excited for this trip because it would be exciting to start a foothold for humanity, on mars. Archives
