Questions:
| Answers: 1. I thought this book was entertaining and very well written. I liked when Jessie was saving up to buy her Grandma a ticket to America, although I disliked when when Jessie was crying by herself on the boat because she missed her Grandma. I liked the action in this story so it was very pleasent. 2. A thing I like about historical fiction is, how most of those books have an author that has a great mind set and a great vision in there writing format. I do not like if the character in the historical fiction book, must have had a unfortunate life and or sad life. 3. When the book ended I thought about comparing things now and things back in that time period. I wondered after when Lou and Jessie got married if they had kids or other important events in their life. I want to know because it could lead to phases that are very fortunate, unfortunate, sad and or exciting, as well as to see how much Jessie has grown in the past years. |
