Here is my reflection on the activity from class: | Mr. Solarz assigned Louisa, Ben and I to the same group and gave us a list of organs of the human body. Our assignment was to trace around one person's body on a long flat sheet of paper. We used our list of the organs to try to figure out where each organ is placed on the drawing of the body. Our group decided to trace around around Ben's body, so Ben laid down and Louisa and I traced around him. Once we traced Ben's body, we started placing the organs on the sheet. First we had to figure out where to place the organs. When it was my turn to look at the list, I gasped and didn't know what the words even meant neither how to pronounce them! It felt like I was trying to read another language. After placing all the organs on the sheet of paper, we were ready for the next step to film a video explaining our work. We filmed the video with each of us explaining the organs, what they do and where they are located. I couldn't stop laughing in the video! When we finished the video I was overjoyed with relief. I felt like I learned a lot during this project, like knowing taking chances even when your wrong and collaborating with others. This project was enjoyable, because I enjoyed the challenge and the excitement. It also stressed me out a bit, because we had no idea where any of the organs go on the sheet of paper. This seemed like a really fun lesson and I will never forget it! |

Elizabeth SmithI am Elizabeth Smith, a doctor from London, United Kingdom. It would be very important to have a doctor on the first manned mission to Mars because it would be safer and people can be covered with healthy lifestyles. I can save lives and help people become more healthy, suited and or ready for this mission. I am excited to go on this adventure because it is a great opportunity to learn life lessons and skills with the help of others. Learning more about other cultures and continuing to be a responsible person can be an adventure that I will take to Mars! Archives
