| 1. 119.4ºF 2. 110.3ºF 3. 9.1 4. We chose polyester first, fleece second, quilt third, and tin foil last. We chose this order because we wanted the most durable on the inside. The length of the materials also influenced our decision because we had the most tin foil out of any material. 5. We didn't chose wax paper because its very thin and some of the other materials were used to make blankets and coats which seemed a little more promising than a small piece of wax paper. The same reasoning for not taking the nylon it wasn't as thick and bulky as the other materials. 6. I think the reason we have a graph with like little peaks and bumps is because the bottle could have been in motion like handing it off to the next person. Also the bumps could be from some bottles touching which I think is what happened with ours. Finally It could be because as some of the ice was melting some of it clumped so it might have been they had and ice chunk by there bottle for a little while. 7. An insulator is a bad conductor of heat because it traps heat not radiates it. That is why our group wanted to have one of the clothing materials because it insulated clothes so why not a water bottle. |
