Objective 3: Explain the purpose of a primary and how it works.
Simulation: Explain how you plan to convince voters that YOU will make the best president for our country.

Answers:
The way primary works is to kind of round the states number so if in one state there is 70% Democrats votes and 30% vote Republican.
I will make the best president because I will make sure everyone has education that you will have health and for more wealthy people taxes are higher and lower for medium and poor.

I thought this was a fun activity because we got to see how after doing different exercises we did and then we saw how many beats out heart did. I thought it was really fun that we got to use stethascopes! I thought it was also cool how it would beat really fast when you go fast.

Which activities increased your heart rate the most?
Which activities increased your heart rate the least?
Was the order in which you ranked the activities accurate? (It's good to be wrong!) Explain.
What changes did you notice about your heart rate as you became more active?
Why do you think your heart rate changed when you were more active? What inference can you make? (Use pages 65–66 of your reference book to help you answer this question.)

For me it was jumping jack because I think it was because I went a lot faster on that one. I think that was one of the quickest ones.
Jogging in place because you are not really going that fast and your doing just like a slow run. Jogging was one of my slower ones out of them all.
The one I got the least was jogging in place with 36. Then it was running and plank ties for 60. Then push-ups were 72. Finally I got the most with jumping jack which was 120.
I noticed my heart rate got a lot faster. When you start to get a lot more active you heart rate gets faster because it need to pump more blood faster.

I think for me my heart rate changed as I got more active. At first I think I was kind of slower and less active. But after that I got more and more active and my heart rate got higher and higher.

I am Nicole Marino, a dentist from Rome Italy. I think that it would be very important to have a dentist on Mars because we will all want good clean teeth so that we can easily eat. I also think it is important because nobody wants cavities and being on Mars not everyone will know how to take care of their teeth properly.
