| If the world were a village you would have to pretend that the village represented the whole world and the village had 100 people. Some of the things that really surprised me were 60 people were from Asia which is a ton considering it was out of 100. Another crazy thing that I learned was there are more phones then there are people which I thought was crazy because I would not have thought that some people had multiple phones and almost everyone has a phone. Probably the craziest fact that I learned was there are 700 chickens in the world which is like 7 time as many people on Earth. Some things that upset me and that I wished were different were 30 people which is 30% of the people o Earth don't have a reliable source or food. Another sad thing that upset me was 13 people do not have a safe source of water. Something that made me want to improve the situation was when I learned that 30 people in the village didn't have a reliable source of food it made me want to help them. Something that I think I can do to help this is every once in a while if I see someone who needs food on the street I could ask one of my parents if we could help them. |
