Observing and Describing an Apple

• It is squishy on the inside but not on the outside.

• It has a slit in the middle of the inside of the apple.

• You feel liquid on the inside of the apple.
• It smells sweet and refreshing.
• Seeds are tucked in the middle of the apple.
• It squirts out juice after stabbed.
• The inside gets harder after time.
• After stabbed, it feels wet and squishy.
• It looks brown after stabbed with the toothpick.
• Liquid comes out red on the outside.
•  It looks hard but it isn't.
•  It tastes sweet and juicy.
• It doesn't sound like anything.

3. Rank order the five senses in the order or your observations (i.e. which sense was used most, second most, etc

1. It was able to observe so many things about my apple today.  I had a lot of tools that I could use on my apple to find out new things.
2. It is so important in science because you need information.  That is mainly how you get your information!
3. I used "feel" the most, then "look", then "smell", then "taste", and then "sound".  I used these the most because when I was observing, that is what I thought of most.
