I never thought that a cat could be so adorable. He was so soft and cuddly, I wanted to hug him all day long!

Do you ever feel the need to buy a tasty pancake? Then you should come down to Dunton Pancakes for the tastiest pancakes you will ever eat!

Third Person

He was walking down the street when he heard a snarl. A large dog jumped out and stole his lunchbox.

Objective 3: Explain the purpose of a primary and how it works.
Simulation: Explain how you plan to convince voters that YOU will make the best president for our country.

The purpose of a primary is to narrow down the amount of candidates that want to run for president. Primaries generally allow the people to engage in the election more. There are two major types of primaries. Open primaries allow people from any party to vote for candidates from any party. Closed primaries only allow you to vote for a candidate that is from the same party that you are registered to.
I will give speeches in majorly populated cities like New York and Texas, and employ a good campaign manager and running mate.

Which activities increased your heart rate the least?

What changes did you notice about your heart rate as you became more active?
Why do you think your heart rate changed when you were more active? What inference can you make? (Use pages 65–66 of your reference book to help you answer this question.

Doing jumping jacks increased my heart rate the most. This surprised me because I thought running would.
Plank increased it the least.
I think I ranked my activities pretty well up until jumping jacks, because, going least to greatest, it should be last.
My heart rate got faster as I exercised more, and went from sixty-eight beats per minute, to one hundred twenty beats per minute. My heart rate decreased at the end when I ran.
I think that my heart rate increased when I exercised because my muscles needed more oxygen to move. I also think I was breathing faster because my lungs needed to give my blood more oxygen.
