Notes
I think that there are 100 people in one village that represent the whole Earth. There are different people representing the different places to live. Asia has 60 people, Africa has 15, 11 from Europe, 5 Canada, 1 Oceania and islands of the south. They are all in one village representing the world. We have a lot of languages, in fact there are almost 60 thousand! That must be really hard to communicate in that village. Ages are crazy in the village, more than half are under 30, one-fifth are 0-9, but only 1 person is over 79. Some people starve and about 47 don't have food to eat everyday. Almost 53 people don't have enough food to survive! Air and water are big things we need to survive. Sometimes the air can be polluted and some people have to walk a long time to get water. I think this is unfair, the food, air, and water should be better and everyone deserves to have the right amount of each. Don't forget about education, health, money, possessions, and energy. Those are poor in some place and strong in others. The village also has a past, present, and future. This is the most important detail. The village is getting to small for everyone to live and the whole earth is taken up! Every year 107 people come to a village. We need somewhere else to live, another planet. Mars. We believe that we can go to Mars and live there, permanently. We need another planet so lets go, lets journey to Mars and live there!
