The red team in the tug of rope represented Great Britain. The red team was the tallest and strongest because the British had strong and trained men. The British had fewer men at the beginning just like how we did tug of rope. The blue team represented the colonists. The colonists didn't know how to fight in the war and they were very weak. The blue team didn't has as much as the red team because some of the people on the blue team were training. Part of the red team joined late because they represented other British soldiers that had to sail all the way from Great Britain. The red team had to pull it past the cones because they were stronger and the blue team was considered the underdogs. They were considered that because they would be smaller and weaker. |
