Hi i'm Ben, and i'm going to give you some information about this type of "Give me Five". So i'm going to be explaining the type that is a short announcement like "whose pen is this?" or "Remember to bring in this permission slip tomorrow.". So this "Give me Five" should only last about ten seconds because it is just a quick and short reminder. This Give me five is important because without I could picture kids losing stuff and not finding it because no one is trying to find it. while doing this "Give me Five" make sure to get everyones attention and make sure they are listening. A trick for this job is too make sure that you are speaking loud and clear and showing the item or pointing to where the permission slip could go.
If this "Give me Five"was not done correctly, people would not know what you are talking about and get confused. If this was not done then people might forget to bring in permission slips, get their mail, and even maybe forget to clean up! This type of "Give me Five" is very important and without out it, this classroom would not work out that well and the classroom would go absolutely crazy (I might have over exaggerated that part.). well the classroom would not be the same and not as fun. So I am Ben and that is the type of "Give me Five" I think now you know how to do.
Some things we could do with this type of "Give me Five" is make sure more people are listening because sometimes the person who lost their belonging didn't here the announcement and are still looking for it or wondering when to turn in a permission slip or something like that.
