Which joint did you choose as our most important joint?
Why did you choose that joint?
What things would be difficult to do without that joint?
What movement can be done without the use of joints? (Example: blinking your eyes)

The jaw is the most important because without it we couldn't open our mouth and without that we couldn't eat food, so we would only last a few days at the most.
Because you can't eat any food with out a jaw or drink water or communicate as well as we do today. Also if you can't eat or drink it would be a matter of days until you die!
Because you can't eat any food with out a jaw or drink water or communicate as well as we do today.
Without joints you could only blink your eyes, and you can swallow your food/water without any joints too.

How Do We Move? Lesson 5

I here everyone feet tapping.
I feel my my hair bounce.
Shirts are bouncing.
Everything slowing down.
My heart is pumping a lot.
Everyone is taking breaks.
My knees aren't straight
My arm pits are sweaty.
Head getting tired
The balls of my my feet are getting tired.

Because when you jump gravity brings you back down to the ground and forces your shoes to make the noise.
Because when you jump gravity brings you back and my hair dose the same so that is why it bounces.
Because when you jump gravity brings you back down to the ground and forces your shirt to bounce.
Because when you have been moving for a while you start to get tired and you slow down.
Because when you move a lot you are needing blood in more area so your heart would be pumping a lot more blood.
Because when you are moving you are exercising and makes you tiered.
Because when you get tired your whole body gets tired so you start to slow down and your knees have to your body.
Because I have been moving my arms the whole time.
Because there is so much blood to distribute to my body and my head needs the most blood
Because you have been on your balls of feet the whole time.

Questions

What three basic things do our bodies need in order survive?
If we exert ourselves, what are three (or more) signs that our bodies are in distress? Explain why our body does that (research it if you need to).
What can we do to make these signs go away?

Answers

Oxygen,water,food, and warmth
You were sweating,thirsty,Increase in heart rate,joint pains,headache.
Drink water, take brakes, slow down, take Tylenol

Jimmy is a really good artist.
We brought lots of things with us on the trip.
I think Cindy did a great job on her research paper!

The baby cried very loudly!

After:

Jimmy is a great artist.
He filled his car with a lot of his clothes.
Cindy did a great job on her research paper!
The ball got passed to Bobby by Luke.
The baby cried loudly.

Alex is a great friend because he always is there but even though he sometimes disagrees most of the time but he still is a great friend. Also he is a great soccer player and team mate.

Rachel is funny because when we are writing she normally says funny things what dose fox at random times.

4 - SBA 2: Observing & Describing an Apple (Laptops, 60+ minutes, Combine with Lesson 3)

My apple is a braeburn apple. It has small white dots on the skin of the apple and small brown dots on the top of the apple.
When you squish my apple it makes a sound like a leaf that is being crumpled but a lot quieter, but it made another noise like you're squishing a lemon.
The apple looks like a heart and there is a smaller heart in the center.
When you take the seeds out, they look like a brown taco shell.
If you split the seeds they are shiny at first, but then they dry out and turn white.
Inside of the center of the apple is a harder material.

Questions

Why were you able to observe so many things about your apple today?
Why is observation and description so important in science?
Rank order the five senses in the order or your observations (i.e. which sense was used most, second most, etc.).

Answers

Because over time apples change because 'of the heat, and then you can observe more, and then that process will still work for a while until it's all brown. After that it will start to shrink.
Because people can't read other people's minds so you have to say a lot of observations that are descriptive.
The most important sense for me is sight for when I am observing objects. After that is hearing, touch, smell and taste.
