A dun dun dun is basically where something huge happens in the book, and you have to end off there! For example, when you figure out that a character is dead, and you don't know the reason, then you make a video about a dun dun dun! It could also be a character realizing that he or she is adopted, or that a character just right of the blue, betrayed another character. But a dun dun dun is not a tiny moment that might not effect the characters in the book. It has to be something that you have a feeling will defiantly effect the characters, and the rest of the book. It also has to be like a moment in a movie where the "dun dun dun" music comes on!
A dun dun dun is important in our reading because it symbolizes a huge moment that may or may not be important to a character. But this signpost is pretty obvious to find in pretty much any type of book, and might answer a question that a character had in the beginning of the book. The question that is forces you to ask is, what happened, and how will it effect the rest of the book and all of the characters. Overall, this signpost is fun to use and will strengthen your reading skills!
