First Week In Space

Hi I’m Luca Bianchi from Zurich Switzerland traveling to Alcopoco Mars to be the first garbage man on Mars and save our people. On my first day in Mars, When I woke up for my first time in space, I got stuck and the tube wouldn’t open, so I had to bust it open. I was the first to wake up so I traveled around the spaceship, and I wrote. I wrote a lot actually because I got up at 1:00 a.m. The book that I’m writing is called The Story Of Tomorrow, which is about a space wizard who has to destroy all the planets in our solar system but the evil genie is trying to stop him. It was very hard to write so when I was taking notes, I super glued my paper on a table and I was floating while I wrote. Other people started to wake up so I helped the pilot fly the ship. The reason I was helping the pilot is because I can teach him to be a good lawyer because the story of tomorrow, is true. I met Ian later around 12:00. It was not fun. He scared me so I punched him in the stomach. I gave him an ice pack but he didn’t want one. So later I met a few other people like Muhammad, Ren, Robert, and many others. I played a fun game with Ian, you take syringes, fill them with water, and shoot them at each other and you have to try to drink the water but your opponent tries to stop you. It’s called Water War.
Day 2. Today I didn’t get any sleep today. Over night I played Water War with myself. I also worked more on my book. I invited Ian to my Google Doc to write it. He came up with an idea that the space wizard is secretly me. I wish I could tell him. Pedro the NASA worker is on to me. He saw the book I was writing and asked a lot of questions. I later found many chip wrappers *cough cough Ian cough cough* I threw the wrappers out of the ship. Now when people look to see all the stars, they see potato chip wrappers. I played more Water War. Ian won, again. I think he is cheating. Any way my plan is going to be great.
Day 3. So you want to know the plan, well you will find out.

Notes:
  •  The monster had been tearing up the village and the way for him to stop was if Andromeda was chained up. Perseus chained up Andromeda as a sacrifice for a monster. Then Perseus slayed the monster just in time and married Andromeda.
  • Andromea, Perseus, and Cetus are all constellations.
  • Alfa, beta, and gamma are all part of Andromeda
  • They're in Ethiopia

VR Trip To Pakistan

Week 0-
I'm Jack and my favorite topic to talk about is history because I like learn about where different people live and how it came to be that way. I also love talking about how my place came to be this way. It's cool to think of a place you never thought of started out amazing. Plus you can talk about your country, section (or state), and your town, city, or suburb. You can also research about where they live even after they tell you about it. Even if your in the same country it's still fun because you can talk about your section or state together. And if you have  the same section or state you can still talk about your town, city, or suburb.
Week 1-
Hi Faisal, Conor, Kaylee, and Aurelia! I life in the Chicago land area in Illinois, USA. In my daily life I'll start off the day by going to school. I have a different type of classroom, it's where we run the class instead of the teacher. Sometimes my teacher would run the classroom for some lectures and math but other wise we have this thing called give me 5. That's where we can have the class pay attention to us when there's something important to say. Everyday we have a different schedule everyday but on Wednesday's we have 5th grade band. That's where we have an instrument and we get to practice them every week and I have the saxophone. Then we always have math, lunch, and recess. Every Tuesday and Thursday we have passion time which is my favorite subject because you can learn about whatever you want. We have 6 hours and 30 minutes in a school day. After school I go home and either watch TV or play basketball with my brother. Sometimes I play apps on my phone. Other times I might play with some of my friends or go to the library. After I play I do chores like unload the dishwasher, fold laundry, and sweep the floor. Then I have dinner. I sometimes eat this amazing meal called lemon chicken. It's where you dip chicken in flour, egg, and bread crumbs and fry it. What is your daily life like?

Week 2-Hello Kaylee and Aurelia! This week we talk about food. I eat many different types of food here in the United States. Many people eat the food that people eat in Pakistan. The food I like is Italian food. I like Italian food because they have a different variety of foods. In America we also eat hot dogs, hamburgers, tacos, and many other foods like that. My favorite meal is lemon chicken where you take chicken, put it in flour, egg, and bread crumbs. Then you put the chicken on the stove with lemon sauce. It tastes delicious and I suggest you try it. Anyways goodbye!
Week 3-
The buildings are related to the history of Lahore like with the Elephant stairs, it was were they used to bring elephants down the stairs. Or the library when the British used to rule Pakistan, the British built it and it looks different. I really like the buildings in Lahore and their history is similar with the United States history. In the United States history Britain used to rule us until we traveled to the US to get away from them. Eventually we had a war but we one, but we cheated.
Week 4- In Lahore, Pakistan, art influences religion but in Illinois, our art doesn't really influence anything. Some churches have different art that influences religion but other than that our art doesn't influence anything. In Lahore, most of their buildings look like our churches. I see they have many different colors which I think is really cool.
Week 5- I learned that popular sports in Lahore are cricket, soccer and field hockey and polo. another thing is in USA, most people don't have shalwar, kameez, and dupatta. Most people wear different clothes then we do in USA. I have not seen many rickshaws either but there are many motorcycles. Many people dance, sing and go online for fun activities here along with Lahore. Anyways that wraps up my writing. What popular sports are in your community?

If the World Were a Village

4/4/2017

I read If The World Were A Village and it showed if every person represented 100 people in a village. It gave a great view of the world and how we can change it. I was very shocked at the statistics that they gave because I actually thought the world was worse. For example 76% had electricity and only 24% didn't. I was surprised in a different way when it talked about cars. There were only 2 cars in the village and 1 truck. I was also very surprised in the end where it showed the growth of population. In the very beginning there was only one person, then 2, then 3, and it gradually changed until 1800 where it was about 30. Then it went up to 100 in just 200 years instead of 1 person going up in 500 years. I wish there were more cars and bikes so people can get to places faster. I really wish there was more clean water in the world so people don't have to walk far away just to get their water. I also wish there was more electricity. I would want to improve those by just buying those things for them, but I can't because I don't have enough money. I would also try to donate which I can do but sometimes I don't have any money to donate to them.
