Use the poetry books in our classroom library, poems online (do a Google search for "Kid-Friendly Poems"), and famous poetic quotes that you can confirm with the internet to create a beautiful tweet and blog post.

Directions:

1. Create a tweet with the following information:
   1. LINE 1: Title of Poem in quotes.
   2. LINE 2: Author Poem "By: _____"
   3. LINE 3: "Credit: (URL)"
   4. LINE 4: #WorldPoetryDay (spelled correctly)
      
   5. LINE 5: Your First Name & Last Initial.
      
   6. Attach a screen shot of your poem or an image that you find from Google Images (be sure to copy and paste the URL to give credit).
      
2. Create a blog post entitled, "World Poetry Day." Include a screen shot of your Tweet and answer the reflection questions at the bottom of this page.
