Predictions
I think the butter will slide in the following order, brass, copper, aluminum, bamboo, plastic.
1. Heat energy transferred through the copper, aluminum, brass, plastic, bamboo when the heat transferred through the thing right away the butter melted and fell right away but if it didn't it took a long time for the butter to melt.
2.I was was absent for yesterdays experiment so I'm not sure what the connections there are.
3.My relates were kind of off compared to my predictions because i knew the butter would slide on the brass, aluminum, and copper first but i wasn't sure which order it went in but i also knew the bamboo and plastic would be last.
4.I think copper and aluminum was the best because they were the first ones to fall.
5. The two worst ones were plastic and bamboo my evidence is they were the last ones make the butter melt.
6. I think water is a good conductor because when you heat up water and you keep it on a heat source it keeps getting hotter and hotter. Some evidence I have to support this is that when we put the water on cup warmer it kept getting hotter and hotter which made the butter fall.
7. I think it matters if something is a good or bad conductor because if you really want to do something like melt something you would want a good conductor not a bad conductor. We use conductors in our life by getting good conductors for things that you need to do something well but you get bad conductors if you want something not done well.
