Some other cool facts are that
- Muscles never push they always pull( the biceps contract and the triceps relax making the arm go up)
- The cartilage is like the grease in the bone, the joint bends and the bones rub against each other and the cartilage softens the impact
- The ligaments hold everything together without it our bones would fall apart
Reflection Questions:
| The hard part of this activity was to make the arm with all of the tendons, ligiments, and muscles. Another hard part was to let the arm move and not have it fall apart. The fun part was using all of the matirals to make the arm and to put it together. The biceps contact to pull the arm up, using the tendons the biceps pull the unla and the radius. The ligiments hold the arm together so that it does not fall apart. The cartilide lets the joints move without scraping together. In order to move down the biceps relax and the triceps(the lower muscle on the arm) contract. |
