Visit this website and learn a little bit about each of the reenactors that will be at the Historical Reenactment on Thursday: https://sites.google.com/a/sd25.org/historical-reenactment/
Drag this map onto your blog post. Then answer the following questions:
- I am looking forward to meeting _______________ because... Tell me more...
- I also want to meet ________________ because... Tell me more...
- Drag in a picture of both people and put them side by side under your answers to these questions.
Once we're back from the Historical Reenactment, please do the following tasks:
- Drag in at least ten pictures from the event and make a slide show.
- Tell me what each reenactor's name was, their job, and something interesting about what they taught you. You should have ten total bullets of information. Here's an example:
Charles Walker is a land agent that wasn't a patriot or a loyalist (he was neutral). He wouldn't care who bought land from him (he'll take money from anyone!). He would also give one side of a land to one guy and another side of land to another person and when they came to get their land he would be running away with their money. What a crook!
Finally, summarize your experience at the Historical Reenactment by writing about what you learned, the connections you made to your experience in 1775 Boston, and what you liked or disliked. Try to show me how valuable of an experience this was. If you write "in character" (as an apprentice visiting Illinois) it will possibly be more fun!
