Walruses live in the water. They perfer shallow waters because it lets them easily acsesss food. They use the water to find their prey like shelfish. In the winter if they get cold the walruses will dive into the water to stay warm. Some walruses will also migrate in the water.Walruses spend 2/3 of their time in the water and 1/3 on land. Walruses also mate in the water. Sometimes they'll mate on land but will court in the water. |
