What do I KNOW?
  • I want to write a realistic fiction novel in verse.
  • The plot will be about  a girl who is bullied, through the viewpoint of the bully.
  • The setting will be a middle school.
  • I want to write at least 130 pages.
How will I LEARN this?
  • Research self publishing websites.
  • Google "What is a manuscript?"
What ACTION will I take?
  • I will complete the book in the next project and at home and publish it
What do I WANT TO KNOW?
  • What self publishing websites are the best?
  • How much money will I need to spend to publish my book.
  • What is a manuscript?
What QUESTIONS do I still have?
  • What is a manuscript?
  • What should I title my book?
  • Should I change the perspective per chapter?
What have I LEARNED?
  • That writing a book takes a long, long time
  • That I may need to take this project to the next round
  • That it takes a lot of money to self publish, and it may take a while to earn it
  1. What would I do differently next time?
  2. What was easy?
  3. What advice can I give others who are doing a project like this?

  1. Try to follow the passion time steps more carefully
  2. Writing the poetry - free verse comes to you easily
  3. Don't expect to finish it all quickly

What Has Changed About Movies In The past Century? By: Elijah P.

This is where I got most of my information:)

My Reflection:

I think that this was a great experience, and was very educational. I think that the most fun part of this round of passion time was the researching part. The most difficult part was when I had to make my video in 1 take! The easiest part was submitting my question to G-form. I will also make a G-doc for my round 2 project. I think that I would tell others to make a timeline of the titles of movies, and what year they were made:)

Reflection

I finished my Round 1 passion time project. My question was What is the difference between reflector and refractor telescopes and how do they work? I thought the telescopes were almost the same, but I learned that they are very much different. I also thought that both of them used mirrors, but I learned that only the reflector does. I definitely learned a lot of things that were very interesting. This passion project was very fun to learn about. Also I also learned a lot of things that I didn't know. This Passion project was a good learning experience and it was very fun.
