When you come into Mr. Solarz's class you have to hang up your coat and backpack. We put the backpacks on the hooks to keep the class organized so they aren't in big piles around the room. If no one used the hooks we would be tripping over them all day long. Someone might get hurt. We would also loose time during transitions because we would have to weave around the backpacks all day.
When you first come in the class in the morning you go directly to the coat hooks. Then you hang your backpack and coat on a bottom hook unless all of the bottom hooks are filled. In that case you would go to the top hooks. Once you are done hanging your coat and backpack you walk to your desk and sit down to start the day. It is really important to know how to do this task.
