What did you learn about air in this session (that took a couple periods)? Hopefully, you learned at least three BIG IDEAS!
What evidence do you have to explain the phenomenon that air takes up space (we didn't prove this in our video, but learned it in the first days of the lesson)?
What evidence do you have to explain the phenomenon that air has weight?
When Mr. Solarz watches your video, will he be able to find problems with your "proof" that air has weight? Remember when we watched videos together as a class he mentioned a few ways teachers could trick their students - make sure you didn't use any trickery!

I learned that air has weight. I also learned that air takes up space, and that has everywhere not just down.
Well, we did this expirement that proved air takes up space, where we put a cup with paper on the bottom face down into a bucket of water and the paper stayed dry because there was no more room in cup.
There is another expirement where we put balloons on a stick and popped one and the side with the full balloon rose up higher than the other.
Maybe because it looked kind of like 1 of us pushed it up or down.

Something that surprised me was that in 2150 the world will not have enough room for us and we will have to occupy another planet! Something else that was surprising was that 60% of our population is from Asia. But it was upsetting that 17% of our population is under nourished. Something I wish were different is that I wish money was spread out more evenly. I thought this needed some improving because it is unfair that some people make less than $5 a day. I could help by, raising a chairity to give money to the poor and that could improve the problem.

One unique property of a solid is having a definite shape. Another unique property is that all of the particles in a solid don't move around.
Liquids have the unique property of that they are fluid. It can also turn into a solid or a gas.

Yes, because if you smashed all of those tings with a hammer they would turn into smaller pieces.
