The whole thing was a metaphor. Every little part that we did represented something in the history alive. The red team (who was representing Great Britain's army) was the tallest kids and strongest kids because Great Britain had strong people but less people. The blue team (who represented the American colonies) had the smallest and weakest people but had more. This is because the American colonies had more people to fight with but were weaker. The white team represented Spain and France troops. The reason they came late was because they had to travel far. The blue team members got offered a prize because they fought so hard for the the land and to create a new country. The reason one member on the blue team didn't get offered a prize was because he was a slave. Even after they won the war the slaves weren't going to be free. The white team rooted for the blue team because they really hated the red team. Part of the red team joined late because they had to travel from England to help. The reason that the blue and white team didn't have to pull it a certain amount of space was because they only had to hold them off to keep their country.
