Q
  • How do people make regularly animated films?
  • Why has this book not been made into a move yet?
  • If the movie is in the process of being made, how will they do it?
This project was difficult and frustrating. I had fun making it, although it was very confusing. I hardly planned anything and didn't know how to do things. It was exiting and sparked creative energy. I learned that planning is very important. I had about five plans in the process, and they were very time consuming. It would have been easier if I had spent round one planning. The most fun thing was creating the crayons I would use. It was funny to make the crayons their own character. I made the blue crayon stubby, and the peach crayon naked! If you are doing this kind of project, plan first, and use tools fit for the kind of movie you are making. I had a hard time, but this project was memorable.

What do I know?
  • I know all of the rules of baseball
  • I know some pitches like changeup and slider
  • I know the basic tips for fielding and batting
  • I know some of the tips for baserunning and stealing bases
What do I want to know?
  • I want to know the tips for pitching and also how to pitch differnt pitches
  • I want to know how to field baseballs and catch fly balls
  • I want to know tips for batting and baserunning
  • I want to know tips for the  catcher postion
How will we learn this?
  • We will watch youtube videos and put them on our website
  • We will look at pictures for grips for the different pitches you can throw
  • We will look at youtube videos for bunts, sliding and swinging the bat
  • We will look at youtube videos for positions, look at websites for quotes we could add and some tips from youtube
What did I learn?
What action will I take?
What new questions do I have?
  • I Learned How to format a weebly website better.
  • I learned how different bunts work
  • I learned drills to get better at baseball
  • I learned how to score a game
  • I will use my website to get better at things I need to improve on.
  • I will continue to add things to the website if I find a new thing.
  • I will keep practicing baseball and tell others about the website
  • I want to know if we should add more pages if there are more things to baseball.
  • Are there other things I should know?
  • How can I improve on my website?
Charlie Reflection:   I learned how to format a website better than last time.  I learned a lot of tips, drills, and new things about baseball. It was difficult to find videos sometimes and format it the same way every time. It was fun because baseball is my favorite sport. The video was also fun to do.

Daniel Reflection: I learned how to format a Weebly website, and lots of tips for baseball. A difficult thing was to format the website because I had never done one. Another difficult thing I did was was to find youtube videos to go on the website. It was pretty hard because I had to filter out the videos that were not needed. One easy thing for me was the screencast. It was simple, yet fun. The video was fun because we were in a "groove" and we were talking about baseball (and I love baseball).

Reflextion

I think that I did a good job on my passion time project because I learned a lot of different ways to draw a rose and it was really fun. The most fun part was the part when I had to made my videos. The most difficult thing was finding videos of how to draw roses. I would have just made one big video instead of 3 different video's.

What Do I Know?
  1. I know that there are many different types of shots and different forms of shooting in hockey.
  2. I know that some types of shooting are slap shots, wrist shots, snap shots and backhand shots.
  3. I know that NHL players shoot in many different ways but usauly shoot what is most confertable for them.
What Do I Want to Know?
  1. I want to know how to shoot in the different forms of shooting and how to shoot that shot acurite  and powerful.
  2. I want to know what is the most common types of shots in the NHL.
  3. I want to know the proper forms of shooting a hockey puck in the NHL.
How Will I Learn This?
  1. I will learn this by watching videos and researching researching and practicing the skills of shooting in other ways.
What did I learn?

I learned about the different methods of shooting and how to perform them. I also learned about shooting and when to use specific types of shots. I learned how to perform these shots and learned about them in general.
What action will I take?

I will take the action of making a video of teaching others how to perform that shot. I will also use this shot to improve my skills in hockey.
What new questions do I have?

I still wonder when you should take these types of shots and how to improve the shot. Also I wonder what shot is most commonly used and which one is the most effective.
My reflection: I think I really enjoyed this project and hope that it can help other players improve there shooting. I also think that this is helpful for myself as well because it could help me, when playing hockey. I think that you should also research your passion and have fun doing it. This project helped me better understand shooting in hockey and the different types of shots that you can use.

  • That we know the top 10 basketball players in the NBA right now.
  • Most people say that Micheal Jordan is the Best player ever.
  • We will use math to figure some stuff out.
  • We will make a screen cast video of our google drive.
W
  • By making a google drive.
  • Looking at websites.
  • We are going consider all stats.
  • We are going to consider all players.

H
  • How are we going to rate them accurately?
  •  How are we going to make the google drive that explains our strategy of rankings?
  • How are we going to present them to others?
L
  • We learned how to use logic and knowledge to rank NBA players accurately.
  • We learned about the history of the NBA.
  • We learned the stats of former NBA players and how good they were.
A
  • I will teach people all of the stats and tell them why we chose the rankings.
  • I might research some more and change the rankings to make them more accurate.
Q
  • How could you narrow it down accurately to 15 players to make it easier?
  • How could we be sure about the rankings?
  • What would be the best way to present this project to others?

Sam's Reflection
This project was very fun to do and I learned a lot of things. I learned stats from different players, and how to use logic to find the most reasonable rankings. I think the most fun part of the project was researching the facts and discussing where we think the players should be ranked. I also think that the ranking part was also the most difficult! I think what I would do differently next time is that I would divide the work and give jobs to make it go faster. The advice I would give others who are doing a project is to pace yourself and make sure you know that this player goes here and prove it. I think the easiest part was making the video because I have a lot of knowledge about the NBA and it was easy to present.
Charles' Reflection
This project I learned a lot about, every player on our list stats. I also learned about what teams these players played for. One thing that was easy was to make a video on our slideshow. The most fun about this project was to research about every player. The difficult part to this project was to get all the information from different websites. If you did this project I would give you advice to to make top 15 because this was shorter than I thought.  Hope you liked our project.

  • Teach my friends the card and prop tricks.
  • Teach my family the card tricks and prop tricks.
  • Show my class mates friends and family the tricks.
  • Preform tricks on videos and other stuff.

How will I find this information?

I will find my information out by...
  • Researching
  • Watching videos
  • Looking at websites
  • I will look at books

What New Questions Do I Have?

I might make my next project on "How To Solve A Rubik's Cube Faster", probably, but I might make a question on cool facts about exotic animals.

My Reflection:

I learned many different cool impromptu magic tricks and even slight of hand tricks as well! The most fun part of this passion time round was research. The most difficult part was to make my video. The most easy was to submit question to G-form. I would make my video a bit longer next time. I would recommend that people make their videos longer as well! This was a very interesting project to do!

What do I know?
  • I know when baking foods you have to be precise when measuring.
  • I also know that when deciding flavors it is fun to be creative and risk taking.
  • I know how to make banana  bread.
  • I know how to make cupcakes.

What did I learn?
  • I learned how to find out more and better strategies from making baking good from scratch.
  • I also learned how many flavors can taste great all together.
  • I learned how to make some interesting treats and learned fun yummy recipes.
  • I learned how to make buttercream.

What do I want to know?
  • I want to know what types of designs to put on as frosting.
  • I also want to know what techniques are there for putting in a buttercream filling.
  • I want to know how to make technices
  • I want to know macaroons on how to mix colors in a cake or cupcake.
What action will I take?
  • I will teach others how to make these things with videos and our website.
  • I will also make these desserts for people.
  • I will take action by telling others about the website Hailie and I created.
  • I also will take my recipes and share it to others.
How will I learn this?
  • Books
  • Websites
  • Videos
  • Magazines

What new questions do I have?
  • A new question I have is if I can make a mix of flavors in one buttercream frosting?
  • I am also wondering if I can create my own recipe?
  • I wonder how to make macaroons
  • I wonder how to make different cupcake flavors put together.

Reflection

This topic and question was fun and active! I learned how to make a whipped cream frosting, and I could use the recipe for other things. I can use ingredients from online or from the package and make it my own way! This learning experience has inspired me to share other recipes to other people and make those recipes on the holidays. The most easy thing was when I made the whipped cream frosting only a couple ingredients go into making the recipe. Out of making all of my baking the chocolate chip cookies was the most easy. This project was awesome I loved it! - Anna

My advice for this project is to do it with someone but do the baking together and it might make it a little more interesting e didn't do this so I think it would be fun to try it and I think you would have fun. I thought this project was fun because I got to actually bake everything and not just say the recipes on my website and I love to bake. I thought this was a easy project because the baking was really easy and making the website and videos because if you find the right recipes and know how to make a website this passion project is not that hard. - Hailie

What I know
  • That they need to be durable and light weight
  • We will have to bend the materials with two decks to get the right shape of board
  • Don't need to get trucks for the boards
What I want to know
  • Will friction effect some boards an make them roll in a grind
  • Will the trucks fit on some things that we use
  • Will they hold together with 8 holes in them
Picture
How will I learn this
  • Test the different materials
  • See what each material can do so that they each have pro's and con's
  • Try until they all work properly or at least can ollie
What did I learn
  • It is a lot of work to find enough trucks
  • It is hard to make a mold for the paper
Connor's Reflection: I learned about how to make a finger board and a paper finger board mold for a tech deck. It was also fun to do the video for the paper fingerboard and it was easy to make the truck hole's in the paper finger board deck.
Ben's reflection
What action will i take
  • I will teach people to make finger boards
  • How to do tricks
What questions do i have
  • What would you use to carve a wood finger board
  • How long would it take to carve a new wood fingerboard
The thing that was hard for me was making the finger boards and it was fun because we were make fingerboards that are made of paper. I learnd
