Passports are a way for us to travel to places around the world. They are also a way if we travel to a place they know where we are from and that we are citizens of that country. We have them so that we can go places that have different laws and governments. We also have them to make sure that we travel safely to places we don't live in. Our country should have them so that we can travel other places. Another reason is to protect our rights in our country and in other countries.
Lyrics: All hail coconuttia, red and true. We stand tall, and treasure you. Giving us courage up and down, give us victory all around. Our homelands strong and true, we will always care for you. We are here we will stay, we will stand by your side from all the hard times we will face and the glory we will grace. All hail coconuttia. All hail coconuttia. All hail coconuttia. All hail coconuttia.(Clap) Why we Should Have a National Anthem: A national anthem is important part to inspire patriotism in our country. It is also important to bring the citizens closer to become one nation. We also believe we should have it to unite ourselves as one in a time of struggle. Reflection's: Madi's reflection:
I had a lot of fun doing this project. We got to be very creative especially since we didn’t follow a rhythm from a song , but that also made it harder because we had no beat to follow. After making this anthem I’m very curious about other nations national anthems and want to learn more. Chris's reflection: This was kinda hard I'd say this project. It was very hard because all the beats that we needed and all the words. The words were the easiest but the beat was very hard. I did have a blast though even though it was very hard and challenging. I thought it taught very well how to work as a team because we needed to find the beat, be together when singing and making the words. Its all very fun though and challenging. Nicks Reflection: Some things we struggled with was when we were trying to figure out what type of speed we should sing at and what lyrics we should have, but in the end we figured it out and had a lot of fun doing it even tho we made mistakes on the way. This was really fun and would hope other people would like it as much as I liked it. The definitions below show what the colors mean so here they are on what we found online...
Purple: Royalty and Nobility Blue: Peace Brown: Stability like keeping things in balance Red: Power and Courage Here's what we found for what the symbols mean.. Rectangles: Trustworthiness Star: Balance Circle: Protection, Immorality and a long life We chose these colors and symbols because the brown circle means the Coconuttia land that we live in. And as you can see above what these symbols mean. And it shows how safe and protected but yet fun and courageous our community is. We found all of our proof online. We also found online of what the symbols mean and what the colors mean too. We also made our flag online. We used the paper that Mr. Solarz gave us so we could know what to do next and what to research but we mostly did our researching by ourselves. We made our flag by collecting our own ideas and combining them as one. We all researched online as a group working together for what they mean. Reflection We had a very great time working on making our money for Coconuttia. First, we looked at other types of money that other countries used their ideas to make our own. Then, we went on to a website that allowed us to create our own type of paper bills. We made the bills with a coconut on them as a symbol of our country. Then we put it on a blog and went on to the coins on a site called make coins.com. After we made the coins we put them on a post. That is how we made our country's money.
