1. Plants plants get most of their energy from the sun because the sun keeps then warm and always making them grow.
2. Plants get their matter from the soil because in the soil there is lots of nutrients such as Sulfur, Calcium, Potassium etc. 3. Plants do get get their food they make their own food. They make their own food from the different sugars and matter in the soil and from the sun. 4. Plants are called producers because they produce their own food and they are not consumers because they don't eat anyone else. 5. If plants didn't have a way to get energy they would not be able to survive because without energy they would not be able to get water throughout their body and they wouldn't be able to make food. 6. If there was not any plants to eat there would be no oxygen to breath in. Also the herbivores would not have any plants to eat which would mean that they would not be able to survive. 7. Some of the living components are all of the cells in the plants because they help the plant live. 8. The non living components of the plant system is the soil because the soil doesn't have any living organisms. 9. The ways the components interact is that each one does a different thing for the plant like how the capillaries bring the water all through the plant. 10. The matter that is transported through the plant is Carbon dioxide and it comes out oxygen. The photosynthesis equation is the combination of carbon dioxide, water, and light and the plant converts it into sugar, which the plant uses as their food, and oxygen, which the plant releases as their waste. |
