The things we did during this activity were Mr.Solarz put us in order from smallest to shortest because in the revolutionary war the had the British soldiers in order from strongest to weakest. Once he did that he separated us into teams. One team got split up, another team had to sit on the stage, the last team was that they all got to stay together. Mr.Solarz had lots of metaphors because the ones he picked were like the ones they had in the war. One was that the red team didn't have to do the blog post if they won. While the reason why that is like the ones in the war is because the continental army had a better intensive to win when the British didn't get anything if they won. After he said all of them we got to do a tug of war game. The kids who got split up went back on the team because the represented the British troops just coming. The kids who didn't get to play joined in the middle to because they represented the French coming to help the continental army.

Topic: I think it is about how a hawk survives.

Point of view: 3rd person

Information the author really wants us to know

• . How humans inter fare with wildlife.
  

So what's the point?

I think the authors purpose of writing this book is to show humans what some humans do to kill a hawk and what some humans do help hawks to survive.

I wonder what tried to shoot the hawk. I'm surprised the hawk could still fly with an arrow in it's thigh. I'm also surprised how the hawk managed to heel himself and by getting water and doing a treatment to his feathers.
I wonder how his leg twisted backwards and got stuck. I feel bad for the hawk because he tried to get out he snapped his bone. But I'm glad that the hawk got free from the arrow.

I wonder why the hawk got stuck in clear wire when he tried to eat another bird. I also wonder who took the hawk in a box. I think it is some type of hunter because I think a hunter shot him and I think the hunter set up that clear wiring. Another prediction I have is that it is a animal hospital was helping the hawk live. I am glad that the hawk is a lot better because of the bird refuge.  

I think it is cool that the hawk is already all better and can fly all by himself and he can survive on its own again. 

My character is Benjamin Franklin and he a colonist who was a neutralist until the British started making even more unfair laws. When Ben became a Patriot he tried to get the British to make more fair laws but the British wouldn't listen. Ben tried to solve the problem by getting more people to try to get the British to make the laws fair. He also tried to get people to help fight in the revolutionary war. When Ben kept trying to get the British laws fair it didn't work. But some other colonist like Ben Started make something called the Declaration of Independence so Ben Franklin asked the colonist if he could help and they said he could. Once they finished making the declaration of independence they showed it to the British government and the British decide to make the laws a little more fair.
