1. The problem is that the baby is sliding down an ice slide and they have to save him/her.

1. Jack gets teased by Julian, Henry, and Miles while waiting for the bus. Justin saw what happened and wanted to make them scared. Earlier, Jack said that his fiddle case looked like a machine gun. So he went up to them and made them scared by showing them his fiddle case.
2. It is a person VS. person conflict.
3. I know that it is person VS. person because Jack got teased by Julian, Miles, and Henry. So Jack is probably mad. Therefore, it is a person VS. person
4. Because this scene happened, we got to learn that Justin cares about Jack. In the rest of the book, Justin never really interacts with Jack. So if this scene didn't happen, then we wouldn't know that Jack and Justin care about each other.
5. This scene is a build up to the end of the book. At the end, Julian never came back to Beecher Prep. The Justin incident maybe helped the decision.
6. I think that Justin, Julian, Henry, and Miles changed. First, Justin might have been changed because he saw what Jack is going through. The other kids get changed to! They might be a little more cautious around Jack because they don't want to get scared again.

3. It was difficult to continue moving when you breathed through the straw. Why is that?

1. It represented you getting less oxygen. Your body needs oxygen to survive, but breathing through the straws made your body work with less oxygen. I felt nauseous because there wasn't as much oxygen going to my brain than I was used to!
2. It shows us that we need more oxygen than we need. When we breathe, we take in more oxygen than we need. So we breathe it out. But when we used the straws, it only allowed us to get a smaller amount.
3. It was difficult because you were breathing hard trying to get more oxygen, but the straw didn't allow to you to.
​4. The only thing that know that effects breathing is allergens. They infect your lungs to make it harder to breathe. 
5. We couldn't exercise. You wouldn't be able to run without big breaths.

Kids can change the world. Adults can change the world. It'll go faster if we all work together. What is one way that you can change the world?

Stand up for people that get bullied, help the next generation to help others. If we help the next generation, the world will be a better place.

I think that he answered that way because he knows that kids and adults can work together as well as adults can work together. He knows that Kid President and himself can work together to change the world.

I could pick up trash. If I don't pick it up it could kill animals, and hurt our envirement.
