Today we learned about how our body is organized. When you are born you start out with two cells called stem cells. When you grow up the stem cells divide up and multiply. The cells make up tissue. The tissue makes up the organs. They go into all of the organs, and the organs make up systems. The systems are what makes up your body.
Adaptations are features in your body that help you survive in your habitat. For example, if you live in the ocean you need gills. That is what adaptations are.
