My teacher, Mr. Solarz, was fortunate enough to travel to Dubai last week for an education conference and to meet former Top 50 Global Teacher Prize candidates for the Varkey GEMS Global Teacher Prize. He shared his unbelievable experience with us, and here are some things that I learned from our discussion:
- I learned that no matter what culture, race, or any other thing, we are all more alike than we are different. We get to know each other more once we get to know each other, and when we learned about their background, we become friends.
- I learned about different types of cultures and how people distribute their marbles. I learned about the way people are kind to others even though they might have mental illness.
