What do we know?I know about a boomerang and a Frisbee and how it has lift and curve involved when it flies. A paper airplane's different folds can affect the way it flies. If the front has more weight it will fly farther. If the wings are a certain shape it will curve in different ways. What did we learn?I learned so much on this project. The main parts that answered the question was the four forces. Those were lift, thrust, drag, and weight. They all make whatever you are flying have enough lift, thrust, drag, and weight. I learned how Boomerang, a Frisbee, and a paper airplane. | What do we want to know ?I want to know the details behind lift and how it curves. I want to know the science behind the objects flying, and maybe if there are certain ways to throw the object. What action did we take?I learned the information by researching, then making my blog post and my website and my screen cast. I learned 3 different objects and now am a expert on it. | How will I learn the information? The way I will learn the information is by researching, then making my blog post and my website. What questions do we still have?I still want to know how different flying objects can curve. I also still want to know what different paper airplane folds affect how a paper airplane flies. |
I really was interested in this project. I was really locked in and focused. It truly was my passion and I was finding all the information so interesting. The only hard thing was when I was researching paper airplanes, there were different folds and that affected how it flew. One good thing was that the videos that I watched were very easy to understand. This was an really fun project. One piece of advice I would give others for this project is watch a lot of videos.
