What do I know?
What did I learn?
What do I want to know?
What action did I take?
How will I get the information?
What questions to I still have?
Reflection: I had a hard time finding a question so it wasn't a top of the line question but I enjoyed learning about the natural metals and man-made metals and all the uses of the different metals. I think it would have been more fun if I had a partner to help with some other misalliance tasks. I definitely learned a lot about all the different metals and there uses. Something that was a little harder was finding how they are made like with steel they didn't have a whole lot except for they blended them together in a blast furnace.
I really was interested in this project. I was really locked in and focused. It truly was my passion and I was finding all the information so interesting. The only hard thing was when I was researching paper airplanes, there were different folds and that affected how it flew. One good thing was that the videos that I watched were very easy to understand. This was an really fun project. One piece of advice I would give others for this project is watch a lot of videos.
Can we create a website like Consumer Reports that analyses hockey equipment for consumers? By: Stephen and Brady
I liked doing this project because it was fun to learn how to make a consumer website. I learned how to create a consumer website and learned many different facts about many different types of hockey gear. It was fun to create a survey to see what other people think about different types of gear. I am still wondering how all the different consumer websites compete with each other and get people to go on their website. It was also cool to see how many people looked on are website and see how our website is doing.
This was probably the most fun project I did this year. I think this because we helped people expand their hockey equipment information and help them choose hockey equipment. The coolest part of the passion time project is that I also learned about hockey equipment. My favorite part of the passion time project was making a survey. We saw what people like the best about hockey equipment and we saw results. My least favorite part of the project was that My partner was gone for 3 or 4 days out of the 10 days in the period so I didn't get as much done without him. Overall this was a great project and I hope people see our website.
How has pollution gotten worse over the years in different regions? And how can we teach others about this problem? Cassidy and Rachel
I really liked this passion time project because I have always wondered about the pollution in different countries. When we were brain storming projects I was really happy that we picked pollution. Even though I loved this passion time project there was some difficulties too. One difficulty was we could not find a website for the pollution rates until there was 6 periods left. We also ran into a bump when we made all of our countries and then we decided that we had to change all of them because we could not find anything on those countries. Even though there was many bumps in the road there were some times where there was no bumps to be seen and we just plugged away. The times we plugged away were when we (finally) found out what we were actually doing. Another time was when we were making the posters because we both would work on one and get it done quickly. I really liked this passion time!!
This passion time project was really very fun. There were definitely bumps and times that everything went wrong or we totally messed something up. But it all worked out in the end. This was also a relatively fun project. Cassidy was a fun partner to work with and I am glad I did a project with her. We really had many many many ideas about what to do but it all worked out in the end. Our chart/graph came out very good. The only thing I wished we found was a better website; it made our chart pretty confusing. But other wise it turned out great. I learned a lot of things, some of which weren't even the main focus of our project. One of which is about Sudan it is super polluted! One of our countries, Egypt was the most polluted. I really thought that India or the U.S.A would be the most polluted. I also learned to operate iMovie much quicker, better, and more efficiently. Overall this was a very fun passion project.
I loved this passion time project because it was so much fun! I enjoyed learning what animals do when they feel different emotions such as happy, sad, depressed, and excited! This was actually a good project for me because I have a pet cat (used to) and I could see when my cat would be happy or sad or maybe even depressed or sick. This website also would help me decide what kind of knew pet to get because I can see what kind of animal/pet I want to get based on what the animal/pet does when it has different emotions. I absolutely loved this passion time project and wish I could do something related to it again!
