K: Claw machines are plush full boxes with a claw that you pick them up with a claw. These require lots of skill. They have different amounts of strength. L: I learned how to make things work without electronics. I learned how to use strings to make a certain things move with certain motions. I learned how to compromise when challenges happen. | W: How to create one that works. How they work. The way that they adjust the strength and how to create a claw that requires no electricity. A: I will try to make more things out of supplies that I don't have a good background with. I will try to think outside of the box for problems. | H: I will use multiple websites YouTube videos and observation to find the facts. Q: What other types of machines will I make next? What other materials could I use? Could I add electricity to my projects? What other projects could I make replicas out of cardboard? |
Reflection:
This project was very fun. Creating the claw machine challenged my brain to make things work and do what their supposed to do. It was fun to see the different ways to make things work. I was able to put my own personal touch on to my project with the designs on the sides and top. The hardest part was making the claw move and making the claw pick up the stuffed animals. This was one of my favorite passion time rounds because of the challenge and the creativity.
