What do I know? They attract each other by magnetite being inside the magnet.they have a repelling side and a connecting side.they are different in strength. It depends how strong the magnet is for how many layers it can attract though. Magnets come in many different forms like cube form, round form, triangle and last diamond form. | What do I want to know?We want to know what magnets are made out of and if there are different things that magnets are made out of? Also if magnets can be strong enough to reach really far. | How will I learn this?We will learn this by doing research and doing experiments with the magnets in water and on something metallic like a file cabinets. We will also see how far the magnets can reach to each other. |
What did I learn?A magnet is a material or object that produces a magnetic field. This magnetic field is invisible.A permanent magnet is an object made from a material that is magnetized and creates its own persistent magnetic field.A boron magnet is the strongest permanent magnet on earth! |

I learned that there was also more research but that wasn't very hard for us because there is a lot of resources we used like wikipedia ,Kidrex, google. But even though me and Inti started before everybody else it's still takes a long time to make a passion time project even if it's very known. we also tried working at the same time but it let one of us in the one who was first in even by an 0.01seconds. We also learned that if you put one magnet in water and one not in water and you move the one thats not in water then the one in the water will move and spin. If you put one magnet on the top of your hand and one on the bottom then if they are pretty strong magnets they should hold each other up. Magnetism can attract magnetic objects or push them away. Magnets have a magnetic north pole and a magnetic south pole. If the same pole of two magnets are placed near each other they will push away or repel.

I learned that it takes the different strength of the magnet to know how many layers of things it can attract through. Also that if you put down a magnet and you have another magnet then you can spin the magnet and they will both spin. The most fun for me was when Filip and I got to experiment with the magnets and make the video. But it was also very cool that we beat the record of longest magnet spin, we both tried to beat the record and we smashed it! our time was 59:89 seconds and our record was 25:56!But it doesn't really count because there was no judge to see it.After that we tried to beat it again ... but it went slower but one of the spins was 50 milliseconds slower than our record so yeah we also we also learned that magnetism is more than just pulling and repealing from each other.
