What do we know?

That Devils Tower is a rock formation that goes up to the sky.
People can walk around it. People can climb it.

What did we learn?

I learned how Devils Tower was formed and lots of different folklore about Devils Tower. I learned lots of little facts like the circumference and how tall it it! I learned how many people visit it and lots of super cool facts!

What do we want to know?

How Devils Tower was formed and what types of folktales their are. I also want to learn fun facts to put on my website. I also want to learn lots of fun little facts!

What action did we take?

I made a website about Devils Tower and wrote my own folklore! I really worked hard on my folklore and it turned out great.

How will I learn the information?

The internet and books.

What questions do we still have?

Are there rattlesnakes on top of Devils Tower and how long does it take to climb it?
Reflection: I had so much fun on this project! I got to read all different types of folktales and wildlife around Devils Tower! I'm really excited to research more at home even though we are done with this round of passion time. I really liked how we could always get help when we were having troubles or challenges. I had a hard time finding different folktales though. There weren't many per website. But it was cool how we got to explore the internet! I also learned some fun facts that will be helpful knowledge in the future! I hope people like my topic because I had a lot of fun working on it!

Great job Addie You worked hard I can tell. your website was really cool. It is so cool that devils tower is 5,114 feet! That is really tall! And your story was amazing I enjoyed reading it. I never heard of Devils tower until you did and passion time project about it. it was a really good pick for passion time! Just wondering Have you ever went to devils tower? You choose good pictures. I like your introduction page! It has a lot of information on it! And nice job on your reflection!

Great Job Addie! Keep up the good work!

I really liked your story and I think it is cool how you read the other stories and got inspiration from them. Is there a certain story that really influenced your story the most?

Hey Addie!
Thanks for commenting on my blog post! I really do appreciate it! And infact there was not a certain folktale that inspired me. I took ideas from lots of different folktales and took my ideas and put them together into a story! Thanks again or commenting!

Hi Addy!!
I liked how you used a lot of deatils by making a story to understand more about the tower.I liked how you used deatils to explain how the tower was formed but,I think you could add a bit more to that. For example,I think you should add how the Devils tower came to be or who discovered it.I also liked how you added a story!Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!

This story is really nice! It has peril, sadness, and happiness blended to perfection. One thing you could change is that cliffhanger!!!!!! I was so excited when I was readin this. Then it felt like time stopped. You were very creative with the story and names.
