Solar
Good
- Can store energy in batteries
- It's clean
- don't have a high risk of disaster
- Solar towers take some sun and distribute it to the panels
Bad
- Doesn't have sun for half of the day
- Mars gets cloudy
Wind
Good
- It's clean
- Is gonna get a lot of energy
Bad
- Will have a radar interference so NASA wont get a signal
- It could blow up in high winds
- There could not be enough winds on mars
Solar Wins
Were going to use to use Solar energy on Mars because it has more positives than negatives and it can't have any disasters like the wind turbines. Besides money won't be a problem so we can buy as many panels as we need, we can get batteries to store the energy. I mean what if it's cloudy, that won't be a problem we can purchase solar towers to magnetize the sunlight onto the panels. (And then say that solar doesn't work out we can always use wind power.) The wind will also be good because it automatically turns off when the winds reach 85 mph and the fastest the wind can blow is 60 mph.
