| 1- I learned that gasses have weight.so I learned that air takes up space. I know that because when you have an empty glass and there is paper taped or stuck to the bottom, if you dunk it mouth down in a tub full of water the paper will stay dry. It does that because the glass or cup is as full as it can be, with air. Therefor air has volume. The last thing I learned is that air pushes pressure out in all places and directions. 2- As I said in the paragraph before you can do a simple experiment. I am going to share a different reason I know air takes up space with you now. When you blow up a balloon it expands, and if you blow enough air into it it will pop. That is because air is filling up all of the space there is in the balloon therefore air takes up space. 3- I know that air has weight because when you have a full balloon, and an empty balloon ties on a ruler perfectly balanced by a string the balloon side with the full balloon will tip over. The full balloon weighs more than the empty balloon because it has air in it. 4- Yes he will because we did an experiment that showed two balloons one full and one not, balancing on a yardstick, and the one with air in it tipped over because it had air in it. |
